This site is a project of the Israel/Palestine Working Group of Progressive Democrats of America (PDA). As grassroots Democrats, we share Nicholas Kristof’s timely critique of US foreign policy in the Middle East. We hope this ‘fan site’ gives a big bounce to Kristof’s words and promotes a just peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
Not everyone reading this is a US citizen, interested in lobbying in general, or pushing for change inside the Democratic Party. But if you are all three of those things, please consider joining Progressive Democrats of America after you sign this petition.
The principal author is Charles Lenchner, an American-Israeli, observant Jew, progressive Democrat and peace activist.

Despite all the gibberish of George Bush and his ilk about peace and stability in the Mideast,
it will not occur until we solve the the Israel-Palestine problem, We should cease ALL arms
sales, economic aid, and blind support of Israel until they come to the table seeking a
genuine, permanent solution without the patrolling of Israeli armies in Palestinian territory,
and a commitment that Palestine has a right to exist as a free country.

AIPAC does not represent majority of American Jews and it does not even represent Israel per se. It represents solely NeoCon wing of Repuboican Party and Likud (Netanyahu primarily).
